my mother wants to kill herself
she yells into the phone
I want to die already
silence
it’s 4:10 in the morning
my mind is still asleep
she cries I want to die
I’m going to do it
how
cut my wrists
messy you know
all those lovely rugs
help me please she begs
what can I do
she’s not sick
she’s not in pain
she’s not in a wheelchair
she’s not in a hospital
but she is alone
